Eilish Zachary has had a love of dance since a very young age. Encouraged by her Grandmother, she began her ballet training at the age of 5 with Stela Viorica in the Vaganova Method. She went on to perform her first lead role at the age of 9 in the original ballet ‘Anya’, as well as perform with The Joffrey Ballet during her years with Stella. She also competed in the YAGP and studied with the ABT. At the age of 12 she began dancing at The Maple Conservatory under the direction of Charles Maple. During her years there she danced in the Pre Professional Division where she had the opportunity to dance in many ballets including classical and original contemporary works. These included Serenade, Coppelia, Cinderella, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She performed featured roles in ‘Alice in Wonderland’, and ‘The Twelve Dancing Princesses’ and danced the role of Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. She graduated from the Conservatory in 2013 and is currently at Orange Coast College training with Jose Costas.
