Jazz Dance Conference West is the two day event that provides Jazz technique classes in a variety of styles from professionals in the field. Two days of classes will culminate with a panel discussion and a Gala Jazz Dance Concert showcasing exceptional Jazz Dance performances. Master teachers include:

Contempo Ballet is excited to start the NMUSD Schools Tour 2023 with the production of Herencia Latina – A Lecture Demonstration Performance about Latino American Dance and Music sponsored in part by the California Arts Council.

Contempo Ballet’s Herencia Latina, a Dance & Education Performance Series is a 50 min. specially-designed lecture/demonstration performance that lead students on a guided exploration of Dance and Music and its cultural relevance to the world. Each Performance is narrated and followed by a Q & A with Contempo Ballet dancers.
Highlights of this year’s program, celebrating Latino American dance and music, include excerpts from “Danzas with a Twist”, “Bongo Concerto”, and “Tango Interlude”.
The Dance and Education Performance Series is Free of Charge to Public School Students, Teachers and Chaperones thanks to the generosity of our Patrons and Business Partners of the Southern California area.

Jose Costas Contempo Ballet is looking for two males and one female versatile dancers with strong ballet and modern dance technique, and performance experience. Female dancers skilled on pointe work, and male dancers with partnering skills – a plus.
All dancers must be able to work in the United States. Contempo Ballet pays $25 hr for rehearsal and performance. Contract for 100 hours
The audition will consist of a ballet class and Contempo Ballet Repertoire.
Date: Ongoing by invitation.
Location: TBD
Dance attire is mandatory. Bring ballet and jazz shoes.
Rehearsals started on January 8 and are held in the Orange County area.
Dancers interested in auditioning must send their resume, a reel with examples of classical and modern/contemporary work of a recent performance, a headshot, and full body photo. Register NOW using this google form.
