Nicole Clarke started her dance training at the age of 5 taking ballet, jazz, modern, and tap at the Academy of Performing Arts in Tracy, CA her hometown. Later she continued her training at Contra Costa Ballet in Walnut Creek, CA under the direction of Zola Dishong and Richard Cammack and was coached by Katarina Wester, Emily Borthwick, and Charles Anderson. While at Contra Costa Ballet she was apart of the Contra Costa Ballet Company and performed in “The Story of the Nutcracker” and “Sleeping Beauty.” She has attended summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre. After graduating from high school she attended Orange Coast College where she studied from Jose Costas and Linda Sohl-Ellison. During her time at OCC she performed in faculty and student dance concerts and also participated at the American College Dance Festival Association three years in a row. She has also performed as a company member with Anaheim Ballet in “The Nutcracker” and “A Midsummers Night Dream.” Nicole is currently attending UCI working on her BFA in dance.
